Bridges & Branches

Hey you! Welcome to my blog.

This blog is a place where I will share about my encounters with people, or just silly stories of my day to day life and some echoes of my mind and heart. Since my memory is very poorly, I want to use this blog as a place to keep memories alive. I meet so many people and I love to hear their stories. I want to put short stories down on 'paper'. Because every meeting is a moment of learning. Learning to listen, to ask questions, to connect, to self reflect, to step out of your comfortzone. I'm realising more and more that the older I get, the more I have to learn.

You will often find me on my bike. If I'm not singing, listening to a podcast or just suffering to get myself up the hill, you might see (if you could unfold the outside) a thought leading to a bigger thought, leading to a renewed insight. Or just a silly thought.

I'm not a big thinker, but I do think a lot. And I enjoy the process of thinking.
Learning the practice of silence and solitude is a way to help me to discover unexplored places of the thought life.

Why Bridges and Branches?

A TED talker once explained a womans brain. He described it as a bowl of spagetthi or a tree with many branches. That's me. Ask my husband about it. Poor guy. Whilst telling a story I end up telling 5 stories at the same time. Everything is linked somehow. This might be a tiring exercise for those listening. However, a lot of bridges are made of trees.

Maybe one day you will read this blog and enjoy it. And maybe you will find yourself crossing rivers, over wooden bridges, made of small and bigger thoughts.
